The Beginner’s Guide

Normally, what we have here would hardly be worth a post. All we have are a handful of weird screenshots,a barren teaser website, and the following description:

TheBeginner‘sGuideis a narrative video game for Mac and PC. It lasts about an hour and a half and has no traditional mechanics, no goals or objectives. Instead, it tells the story of a person struggling to deal with something they do not understand.

Looks like some artsy fartsy indie stuff, I know. But it has me intrigued because it’s the newest project byThe Stanley Parablewriter Davey Wreden. Knowing just how funny, introspective, and plainsmartthat was, I can’t help but look forward to this.

That, and I’ve seen the trailer forThe Beginner’s Guide. But I can’t show it to you yet! Sorry! It will launch with the game in two days on October 1.
