Despite the fact thatFez‘s two man development team has been largely silent on the game since itfirst showed up years ago, it has not become vaporware. The guys at Polytron have finally resurfaced, with a playable demo and tentative release date for their indie 2D/3D platformer. Max and Tara got to interview Phil Fish, and they talk about the game, and where its been for the past couple of years.

This game looks cool, that’s all there is to it. The concept behind it, the ability to rotate a 3D environment and use it in a 2D setting, even the minimalism look good. As Phil said, sometimes its nice to just play a relaxing game, and this certainly seems to fit the bill. Look for it (hopefully) before the end of this year on Xbox Live Arcade.
