Zach Gage is an essayist, visual artist, technology artist, and game designer. On top of all that, he is rad. His essay/tech art on howthe internet works as an external hard drive to our brainswas brilliant, as was his “trollish” audio experiment studyingthe way museum goers respond to the sound of the iPhone. He’s got a huge body of work beyond that, whichyou can check out here.

On the games front, Zach’s two bigger commercial releases areSpell Tower, an iOS “word game” that utilizes traditional puzzle game elements, andBit Pilot, a game that aspires to make the touch screen the optimal method for engaging in a high speed escape from deathin outer space. And he’s also designed a board game calledGuts of Glory. Holy crap!

Zach has a lot of interesting ideas about how the way we physically interact with games alters our experience, about how we interact with technology in general, and how to be a great cuddler. I’m excited to pick his brain about all these exciting topics, and many others. Check us out live and join us in the chat at 1pm PST/4pm EST!
