Leaders acknowledge the good that videogame development can do
For the second year now, theWhite House Science Fairhas invitedNational STEM Video Game Challengeparticipants in its effort to promote science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) among American youth.
The National STEM Video Game Challenge is an organization that tasks middle school and high school students with creating videogames, based onevidencethat videogame design “can be a highly engaging way for children to learn a range of STEM skills.”

The deadline for this year’s Video Game Challenge is May 1. Entrants may be able to be a part of next year’s White House Science Fair.
