‘Gardners of the Galaxy?’
Square Enix kicked off their presentation with the next game from Eidos Montreal:Guardians of the Galaxy.

The whole gang is here, and Square Enix is using the off-brand MCU look again, with a different studio no less. The voices for a few characters seem a little off, in part because the MCU ones are so character-defining.
Oh andCosmois in! So they’re going off-MCU book here to some extent. Plus, “haunting repercussions” of story choice was a marketing term thrown out, which I need to see to believe. This looks likeMass Effectby way of Marvel. Star Lord’s tape deck is in, and “Bad Reputation” was shown off, on top of “Holding Out for a Hero” in the debut trailer. It’s an interesting combo.
It’s out on October 26 for PC,PS4/PS5, and Xbox One/Series X/S. Here’s some pre-order info:
