‘Haven’t yet decided to turn that into a full game’
In a fairly routine interviewwith Miyamoto regarding the newStar Fox, TIME managed to come across one extra little tidbit that some of you more hardcore fans might find interesting.
A few years back, Miyamoto and crew showed off “Project Giant Robot,” a title that hasn’t come to fruition yet, but was apparently being made into a full game at some point. After all, “Project Guard,” shown at the same time,did becomeStar Fox Guard.
Sadly, Miyamoto responded by saying, “‘Project Giant Robot’ was something we started as a second project, and unfortunately we haven’t yet decided to turn that into a full game.” Rumors have been going around in recent months that the concept wasn’t fun, so we may never actually see this come to fruition. Well, at least we have the prototype to look at!
