Robloxhas a firm grip on the gaming world thanks to a few key elements that have helped it attract millions of players. For instance, it’s a small game that isn’t going to tax even the most dated PCs. Developers plan to continue makingRobloxone of the best places for friends to communicate and play together.The game will also be expanding its reach when it finally launches on PS4 and PS5 in October.
This is a long-awaited port, asRoblox has conspicuously not been available in the Nintendo and PlayStation ecosystemsdespite its popularity. Currently, the game supports crossplay, though it hasn’t been confirmed yet whether the PlayStation ports will also have crossplay capabilities.
What to expect from Roblox in 2023 and beyond
Robloxwill be making things a little easier for creators and giving them more freedom. New mesh and texture APIs will be added, allowing you to edit your avatar and avatar items such as clothes within an experience. Developers also intend to craft tools that enable users to create avatars from text inputs.
Later this year, Roblox Connect will also launch. In a bid to further expand the game’s available features, Roblox Connect will let you call other players and display your facial expressions through your avatars, and all that’s needed is your device’s camera.
Robloxwill also be coming to Meta Quest. The open beta has already been released, and in the first five days, it was downloaded over a million times. It comes just in time for the Quest 3 which is scheduled to launch later this year.
