So My NintendoPlatinum Points expire aftersix months from collection. It’s important to game the system as much as possible: meaning, there are ways to bank missions and not actually complete them until you need them.Our guide goes into more detail on this, and how you can useFire Emblem Heroesto your advantage.
Gold Points, which are more like cash that can be used directly for eShop payments,expire in 12 months. There’s a lot more leeway here with the expanded timeframe, but note that since a lot of folks make purchases in December,you might be coming up on a time period where a bunch will expire.

How to earn more My Nintendo Points for the holidays
