Every time a newPokémon GOevent rolls around, there is always a long list of new Pokémon making an appearance for the first time or becoming more common during the duration of the event.
ThePokémon GOTour: Unova Global event is no different, and there are a lot of Pokémon on the event list. Whether you’re looking for something extra special or you just want a Pikachu with a specific hat, there’s something for everyone to aim for during the Unova Global event.

Black and White Kyurem
Perhaps the biggest draw of the event is the debut of Kyurem’s alternate forms, Black and White Kyurem. These Pokémon will be available to battle in 5-star raids, and you’ll be able to add them to your own Pokédex using Fusion.

Shiny Meloetta
For the first time, players will be able to get a Shiny Meloetta in their Pokédex during the Unova Global event. To do so, you’ll need to purchase a ticket for Masterwork Research, which costs $4.99 (or the equivalent in your local currency). Completing this Masterwork Research will guarantee an encounter with the never-before-seen shiny Pokémon.
On the plus side, Masterwork Research does not expire, so you’ll be able to purchase the ticket and then complete the tasks in your own time without having to rush through it during the event.
Event themed Pokémon Habitats
There will be four timed “Habitats” to explore during the Unova Global event, each with their own selection of Pokémon to find and capture. Excitingly, Shiny Deerling will appear for the first time inside these habitats, so you might catch one of you get lucky!

Don’t worry if you don’t get lucky and find them, though. They’ll also be appearing Tier 1 Raids throughout the event.

During thePokémon GOTour: Unova Global event, the distance required to hatch Eggs will be halved. As such, it’s the perfect opportunity to try and hatch some of the following Pokémon that will be more likely during the event:
Pokémon attracted with Incense
During the event, you’ll be able to attract a few different Unowns when using Incense (except Daily Adventure Incense). The types of Unown you’ll be able to find are:

Raid Pokémon
Of course, the main draw of Raids during the Unova Global event is definitely the newly added Black and White Kyurem, but other Pokémon are putting in their appearances. Along with the behatted Pikachus in Tier 1 raids, Druddigon will be appearing in Tier 3 raids.
