Home is pretty rubbish, and anybody with a brain knows it. The publisher has thus far been able to hide behind the crapness of the poor man’s Second Life by claiming that it’s still in beta, but that excuse won’t wash for much longer.
“Home is due to come out of its beta-testing phase in December of this year,” says Kirk Ewing of Home developer Veemee. “Most people think that Home is sh*t. I’m here to say that it’s not.”
And the rest of the world is here to tell you that it is.
The thing about Home is that it would be less crap if it wasn’t so crap. If Sony can work on making Home less crap, then the amount of crap that it is would be reduced, making it not very crap overall and then people who didn’t like crap might like it because it isn’t crap. Until Home stops being crap, it will unfortunately be viewed as crap by people who see crap things and know that they are crap. Let’s all cross our fingers for a less crap Home, even though we know it’s always going to be crap.
