After playingWarhammer 40000: Boltgun, I certainly feel like I need a high-pressure blast of water. That game is one of the bloodier first-person shooters out there. There are definitely some floors out there that need a good hose-down, which is to say nothing of the armor that probably stinks of rot and heresy....

I make my love of role playing, racing and puzzle games known, but I don’t talk much about my other love: golf games. I adore golf games. My favorite are the PangYatitles (PC, WII and PSP), but I have love for all of the Asian-made ones, from theMinna no(Hot Shots Golf) series to Nintendo’sMario Golfseries. Interesting Sony has announced a new TV cloud service that will launch in 2015. It will deliver broadcasts and on-demand content to the PS4 and PS3, as well as a few other platforms. They’ve partnered with NBC, Scripps Network Interactive, Discovery, Viacom, FOX, and CBS, and it will be a monthly subscription model. As someone who watches a ton of TV (glad to seeHomelandback on its feet), the service sounds fairly underwhelming so far....
Longterm Games has announcedtheir upcoming game,StarKeeper, which has you manage a tavern on a wayward meteor. Alongside it, they have released a trailer that showcases gameplay that looks oddly adjacent to 2001’sStartopia. Management sims based around building a tavern have been growing in popularity over the past while. It’s one of those concepts that creators have grasped onto and are trying to put their own spin on it. As a hobbyist, it can be a bit vexing, as I don’t really even know where to begin when it seems like the announcement of three of them hit my inbox each day, and I can’t tell their names apart....
This cinematic trailer sure sets the mood I thought I could handle spiders, but this latest video forThe Sinking Cityhas me questioning my resolve thanks to a fast-moving figure lurking just out of the protagonist’s sight. Ominous webbed hands, an ocean in the sky, and tentacles that connect to some unspeakable horror or another all make for a darn good cinematic trailer. I’m glad this Lovecraft-inspired investigation game ismoving forward....
Getting into gear Sega has released a selection of tidbits about their upcoming racing titleTeam Sonic Racing.The new info was released during Gamescom, currently taking place in Germany this week. It appears that Sonic, Amy, Tails and co. will all be taking part in a map-based racing campaign, similar to that ofSonic and Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed. The gang have been invited to race at the behest of a mysterious Tanuki named Dodonpa, who themselves are a participant in the high-speed action....

I’ve been heartily enjoying bothSeason 2 ofThe Walking Deadand the first outing ofThe Wolf Among Us(which I’m also hoping moves on to a second season), and Telltale has a new bit of news to announce — both of them are coming to the PS4 and Xbox One later this year. I have been planning out my zombie apocalypse strategy since I was in 8th grade. I have all my plans written out, know exactly where to go when the sh*t hits the fan and am confident that I will survive the coming apocalypse.
