Azumarill to the rescue again The first Cinderace weekend is upon us inPokemon Scarlet & Violet, and it brings its huge stats and fighting Tera type along with it. That could have meant a lot of things, but many assumed it would be like every otherDragon Ballgame. I originally used the world “bible” because the book is a comprehensive compendium ofZeldalore. Now I’m starting to think that the religious connotation of the word “bible” is equally appropriate, because the book has just performed a miracle. And boy does it need it Titanfall’snew horde mode, Frontier Defense, isn’t going to win any awards for originality. Frontier Defense tasks a team of four players with the protection a generic space fuel pump called the Harvester, and dumps escalating waves of AI enemies in front their sights for blissful, mostly mindless, obliteration. It might not be a fresh take on the formula, but it is a free update and I can’t help but crack a smile when I see so many robots punching and shooting the crap out of each other at once, so there isn’t much to complain about....

With today’s massive free update, which “nearly doubles” the game’s content, it is now known asDimensions Evolved. To summarize, there’s 40 new Adventure Mode levels, 20 Hardcore Mode levels that strip away drones and super abilities, some bonus levels, and a more fleshed out Classic Mode, among other things. I played one particularly cool level type, pictured above, in which your ship has no firepower but can drag along this trail of light that will destroy enemies who brush up against it....
