Getting moreJoe Dangeris definitely somethingto be excited about. Speaking to Gamasutra, developer Hello Games gave insight into the upcoming iPhone version of the game, which is currently on display at PAX East in Boston.
WhileJoe Dangeris planned for Android as well, Hello Games’ Sean Murray shared his thoughts on iOS development. He was quick to mention his hatred of the virtual d-pad as a crutch for designers and that this game won’t be a mere port; it was “written from the ground up for iPhone,” says Murray.

“You swipe the screen to make Joe wheelie, you nudge him in the air to affect his gravity, you can flick a barrier out of the way, or wrestle with the shark in the shark tank. You have such control that levels that would be impossible on console are much easier on the touchscreen.”
