Impressive for the Switch’s first year

At this point Nintendo has built up a nice little winter for itself on Switch. I mean some of it is elevated by ports of games that are years old (and one,L.A. Noire, that’s nearly a decade old), but they’re games, accompanied by a few big original releases. To recap a bit Nintendo of Europe has shared this infographic, and there’s quite a bit left in these next few months.

To close out the year on Switch when it comes to said originals we have aSnipperClipsexpansion andXenoblade Chronicles 2, followed by the highly anticipated finalShovel Knightcampaign,Octopath Traveler, andSuper Meat Boy Foreverin early 2018. On the 3DS side we havePokemon Ultra Sun & Moon, as well asStyle Boutique 3: Styling Star, Mario Party: The Top 100, and another edition ofShovel Knight:King of Cards.

The Switch has accomplished a lot in its first year, it just needs to keep up the momentum. If it surpasses the Wii U in just under a year it’ll be another cause for celebration for Nintendo.
