Have you been playingModern Warfare 3and spotted the Disruptive Behavior Enforcement message, you may wonder what it actually means. Well, that’s where I come in, as I can tell you all about the Disruptive Behavior Enforcement system.

One of the best things aboutCall of Dutyover the years has been the in-game voice system. I still remember the days ofMW2when everyone would get into lobbies and trash-talk each other. Now, we also have a chat system too where you’re able to type out messages to both teammates and opponents.

If you’ve been using these systems for mischief, or been incredibly toxic to people in your matches, there’s a good chance you’ll get reported. That’s where the Disruptive Behavior Enforcement message comes in.

What is Disruptive Behavior Enforcement inMW3

Disruptive Behavior Enforcement inMW3means that you cannot use the in-game voice or text chats to talk to teammates or opponents.Your behavior has been punished and can last from a day to weeks depending on how serious your offense is, or how often you’ve been banned.

This comes as part ofCall of Duty‘s Code of Conduct which asks players to “treat everyone with respect,” which is fair enough when you think about it. If you’re caught bullying, harassing, or making derogatory comments based on things like race, gender, or sexual orientation, you will receive this punishment.

According to Activision, voice and text logs are monitored by both humans and technology, so you’ll not automatically get away with it if nobody reports you. Just keep your trash talk civil, and you should be ok.
