In the middle ofWorld Series of Warzonequalifying matches, Raven Software stepped in and nerfed a weapon that most competitors were using. Here is everything we know about the update.

On June 4, NA and EU qualifier matches started for the2024 World Series of Warzone. During the first day of action, most players used the DG-58 LSW since the JAK Nightshade transforms the LMG into a lethal AR. InSeason 3 Reloaded, The JAK Nightshade’s damage values, max damage range, and headshot multiplier were nerfed into the ground. However, those nerfs weren’t enough to knock the long-range meta weapon out of contention.

As a result, the Warzone development team decided to double down following the Season 4 update. Raven Softwareclaimed, “the DG-58 LSW was a bit too dominant at range, so we have introduced a gradual damage falloff which keeps it competitive at those close-mid encounters, but now falls off slightly as you approach those long-range fights,”

World Series of Warzonecompetitors will likely use the MTZ-556, SOA Subverter, or Holger 26 following this patch.
