Back in 2017Mordhau,as Jordan perfectly put it, showed lots of promise. I got immediateMount & Bladevibes from the Kickstarter pitch, but with a decidedly more bloody and action focus. Today all of that planning comes to fruition.

Mordhauis out now on Steam for 30 bucks, and people are really taking to it. So much so, in fact, that it managed to peak at fourth placeon Twitchthus far with over 87,000 viewers, only behind perennial championsFortnite,GTA V, andLeague of Legends. Now a lot of new games hit the top 10 of Twitch and then promptly fall off (seeSekiro), butMordhauis of special note because it’s an indie Kickstarter project. It also focuses heavily on shareable moments and a 64-players: it even includes a battle royale modeas well asoffline play (with co-op/AI support to boot).
