Digitial Eclipse unveiled the next game in the Hasbro Retro Arcade asMighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewindand it looks like a ton of fun. Coming in late 2024,Rita’s Rewindis an all-new adventure with an originalPower Rangersstoryline that mixes franchise lore with retro gameplay.
InRita’s Rewind, players face off against a robotic reincarnation of the Power Rangers’ long time nemesis. Robo-Rita conjures a portal to send herself back in time to stop the Power Rangers by forming an alliance with her younger self. Together, Robo-Rita and Rita Repulsa will rewind, rewrite, and remix the past in attempt to stop the Power Rangers once and for all.
It looks like classic arcadeyPower Rangersbeat-em-up and I’m all for it.
