Why are all the MMOs I’d actually play stuck in Korea?
Show of hands if anyone remembers that aGhosts ‘n Goblins OnlineKorean MMO was unveiled back in 2010. I figured it would have be cancelled by now — I’m still bitter thatRockman Onlinewas silently shut down. But nope! Developer Seed9 just held a closed beta the other night, and Asian game aficionadoSteparuhas fresh video of his play session.
You wonder, how do you adapt a hard-as-balls platformer into an MMO while retaining that same level of difficulty? Apparently… you don’t. But that actually works for me. I could never get past the second level in anyGhosts ‘n Goblinsentry, so perhaps this game would be more my speed. That’s assuming it ever makes it out here, which I bet itwon’tbecause Capcom is kooky like that.

From Steparu’s vids (the rest posted after the break), you’ve got your familiar MMO trappings — character creation, hot bar, big boss gang bangs — along with classicGnGtouches. I especially like the intro movie in which a Red Arremer tries to get fresh with the princess and the princess is all like, bitch, keep your hands to yourself! She ain’t takin’ no sh*t. I admire that.
