I shouldn’t be surprised to find out the soundtrack to Southend Interactive’sIlomilomeshes nicely with the delightfully chaotic visuals presented on screen. I shouldn’t, but I am.

The music is the sort of relaxed, cheerful, straight-up catchy stuff we don’t necessarily hear a lot of in videogame tunes these days. Plus, the use of quirky sound effects really feeds into this idea — think back to, say, the 90s when there were more constraints on what could and couldn’t be done.
