Like prior Bethesda games, most of the items you spot around you inStarfieldcan be interacted with and stored in your inventory. Some of them are useful and worth keeping while others are just junk you’re better off selling. When you need to get rid of stuff, hit up a vendor that’ll happily pay you for your goods.

It’s a convenient system, but the only problem is that vendors have limited Credits, which can be a problem when your inventory is overfilled. Fortunately, it is possible to reset vendor credits. Do this, and you’ll always have a convenient way to shed weight when you’re encumbered.

Resetting vendor Credits in Starfield

Vendors have a fixed amount of Credits, and this amount differs depending on which vendor you’re dealing with. If you sell enough items, you’ll deplete the vendor’s Credits. You’ll still be able to offload your cargo, but you won’t get paid for it anymore.

You can remedy this by waiting a little while. To do this, sit on a bench or lie in a bed and pass the time. How much time needs to pass will differ from vendor to vendor, but 48 hours local time is usually sufficient. Head back to the vendor, and you should find their money has been topped up. The seller will also be restocked if you want to purchase more goods.
