The game is set in a “persistent” open world environment that “keeps on living even when you’re not playing,” and features fully customizable weapons and gear. It also boasts a unique health system that aims to simulate the human body, where injuries to certain body parts can hamper your performance in different ways, requiring you to specifically identify injuries and figure out how to deal with them.
Who is the developer ofGray Zone Warfare?
The studio working onGray Zone Warfareis called Madfinger Games. A developer and publisher based in the Czech Republic, it was formed in 2008 and is made up of former employees of 2K Czech. It’s mostly worked on shooters for mobile devices, includingShadowgun(which saw a couple of sequels) and the zombie themedDead Triggergames.
When willGray Zone Warfarerelease?
After initially offering a general 2024 release, Madfinger Games has confirmedGray Zone Warfarewill be available as an early access titlestarting from April 30, launching specifically at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET / 2 p.m. BST (viaIGN). It being an early access title, though, means it will be missing a number of features. As for how long it will be in early access, Madfinger Games has said onthe game’s Steam listingthat it could be for several years depending on player feedback.
