GOG has announced that you can expect Sony’s PC ports ofGod of WarandUncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collectionto come to the storefront. Alaunch date hasn’t been given yet, though you’re encouraged to check out GOG’s Halloween sale as you wait.
Sony started its push to put more of its games on PC a few years ago. Typically, they launch on Steam and then arrive on GOG a little later. This was the case withHorizon Zero Dawnwhich hit Steam in August 2020 before arriving on GOG in November of the same year. Similarly,Days Gonewas ported to PC via Steam in May 2021, and it only arrived on GOG in October this year.

Sony’s PC ports have had varying quality.Horizonwas well-received, whileThe Last of Us Part 1was a bit more of a disaster. Fortunately, players using GOG won’t have anything to worry about when it comes toGod of Warand theLegacy of Thieves Collection, as both games had successful launches on PC.
God of War(2018) is a soft reboot of the series. In addition to bringing back Kratos, his son Atreus is introduced which brings out a different side of the Spartan warrior. The Legacy of ThievesCollectionoffers the best of modernUncharted, bringing youUncharted 4andLost Legacyin a single package.

Sony’s not done with PC ports just yet. The biggest one to look out for isHorizon Forbidden West: Complete Editionwhich is set to launch in 2024 and will feature the base game along with theBurning ShoresDLC.
