We’re just over a month away from the next release in what could prove to be Square Enix’s magnum opus,Final Fantasy VII Remake. The publisher has released a “final” trailer for the incomingFinal Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, which launches on PS5 June 10.

It should be immediately noted that the trailer opens withending spoilers forFinal Fantasy VII Remake, as well as featuringplentyof footage — of both characters and events — taken from the all-newEpisode INTERmissionside-chapter. So consider yourselves warned, friends.

Episode INTERmissionwill see the return of fan favoriteFFVIIcharacter Yuffie Kisaragi, as the young kunoichi bravely battles against the forces of the Shinra corporation, including the head of its weapons division, Scarlet. Ms. Kisaragi will also lock horns with the mysterious Nero, an elite member of the Deepground clan known as the Tsviets. This latter antagonist previously appeared in the 2006 PS2 releaseDirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergradelaunches on PS5 June 10. WhileIntergrade‘s technical enhancements will be offered as a free upgrade to players who ownFinal Fantasy VII Remakeon PS4, theINTERmissionchapter will need to be purchased separately. It has been announced that Intergrade will see a PS5 exclusivity period of at least six months before it appears on any other platform.
