Akira Toriyama’sDragon Ballmanga is one of those perennial stories that has extended into practically every form of media. Manga? Obviously. Anime? Of course, do you live under a rock? Live action film? Uhh … next question. Monopoly? you may bet your bottom dollar. Video games? Absolutely. It doesn’t really matter what medium you want to consume, chances are there’s aDragon Ballvariant.

And this trend doesn’t look to be ceasing anytime soon; in fact, as I write, we’re expecting a new entry in theBudokai Tenkaichiseries, much to the delight and excitement of fans the world over. So, let’s look at the rich history of games set in theDragon Ballfranchise, going as far back as 1986 on the Super Cassette Vision console … I know, I know — the SuperwhatVision? Just bear with me here.

Also, when it comes to dates and platforms, we’ll be referring to the date it became available in North America and the platform it was released on. If the game wasn’t released in North America, we’ll make a note of that, as well. Also, we’re not counting Arcade or Mobile titles for obvious reasons. So, without further ado, let’s power up.
