Even since we learned thatThe World Ends with Youcharacterswould be appearinginKingdom Hearts 3D, rumors have been swirling that a sequel to the sleeper DS hit is just around the corner. We still don’t have any confirmation, but in a recent issue of Japan’sNintendo Dreammagazine, Square Enix’s Tetsuya Nomura was quite brazen with hischoice of wordsregarding the future of the series.
Speaking of the character Rhyme’s cameo inKingdom Hearts 3D, Nomura said that she lacked any lines inTWEWYbut will have a proper voices role inKH3D“out of consideration of the future ofThe World Ends with Youseries.” Later on, he says, “RegardingThe World Ends with You, I can’t say anything at present… (laughs). But there probably is something.”
That sounds pretty solid to me, doesn’t it? Which reminds me, I never actually finished the original game. Lemme go do that.
