So here is my 3rd attempt at trying to see all of the stuff I missed at E3 right before the show closes (here arethe 1stand2nd years‘ videos if you want). For whatever reason, we got A LOT of requests to shoot another one of these, which was a little awkward. It’s like having someone ask you to “tell that exact same joke you told last year, but more funny this time!” I’m not sure we pulled it off, but as long as you guys keep asking us to try, we’ll keep doing our best make it happen.
The biggest difference about this year’s video is that it’s the first time we’ve integrated multiple Dtoid fans into the shoot. That’s mostly because the amount of people that stopped and asked us for a picture or a quick conversation waswayup this year. It was strange and flattering. It only felt right to try to return the strange and flattering favor and include as many of these fans in the video as I could. Talking to people who don’t hate me is something I will always make time for, regardless of how many videogames are around me or how many wrap-up videos I’m trying to shoot at the time. Being not hated is awesome.
That said, there is a fine line between being “not hated” and “having a man blow… kisses at you while you’re trying to demoResident Evil 6“. I can only hope that my dear friend Jim Sterling learns to find that line before E3 next year. That kind of behavior is very distracting!
