Disney Dreamlight Valleyis constantly evolving and growing thanks to regular updates from Gameloft. Roadmaps, in particular, give us a hint as to what’s coming next. Although we’re halfway into 2025, we can still get an idea of what’s to come from the latest one, so let’s take a look.
Disney Dreamlight Valley 2025 Roadmap highlights and features
Mysteries of Skull Rock
We’re continuing storylines within Dreamlight Valley by investigating Skull Rock, a mysterious structure east of Dazzle Beach. Inside of Skull Rock is a mysterious pirate cove that, after a series of quests, will lead to adventures with Peter Pan and The Forgotten. The update will be available onJune 18.
In previous updates, we haven’t spent much time exploring Skull Rock, aside from briefly visiting it during the A Skull Rock and a Hard Place quest. It isn’t typically a focal point for any storylines, but that’ll change soon once this update arrives. Alongside it is the Adventures in Never Land Star Path, which’ll include pirate and mermaid clothing, among other cosmetics.
The Unwritten Realms
Shortly after the Skull Rock update, we’ll get the second part ofThe Storybook Vale’sstoryline, The Unwritten Realms. Here, we’ll revisit Maleficent and uncover the rest of this world’s secrets, including Aurora’s whereabouts and how Hades and the Lorekeeper plan to get involved. This content will be available startingJuly 9to anyone who owns theStorybook Valeexpansion pack, with the Skull Rock storyline releasing for everyone.
Inside Out update – Summer 2025
Our first unknown event on this list is another Summer 2025 content update relating toInside Out. At the time of writing, it’s unknown whether this’ll be a continuation of the Memory Mania event, but Gameloft has confirmed that a new character will arrive one way or another.
The Beauty and the Beast’s story continues – August 2025
Arriving later in the year is an expansion of theBeauty and the Beastrealm’s storyline. In this update, we’ll get two new characters and additional stories within this region, much like we did with theLion Kingrealm when Timon and Pumbaa arrived in Dreamlight Valley.
Cinderella update – Winter 2025
Lastly, we have a Winter 2025 update that appears to be related toCinderella. Although Gameloft hasn’t outwardly confirmed this, the carriage in its promotional image suggests that a character from this tale—potentially even Cinderella herself—may be arriving in Dreamlight Valley later this year.
Much of the information revealed for later this year is based on developer updates released by Gameloft before official releases. We’ll continue updating this page as we learn more details.
