Maybe… maybe not

A tweet from the EA Access team may have unwittingly revealed the name of the nextBattlefieldgame.

Or not. That’s the fun with rumours – we’re never quite sure, right?

Responding to a query on Twitter (viaVideoGamer), the official EA Access account saidBattlefield Hardlinehad been added to the EA Vault to “celebrate theBattlefield 5event tomorrow”.

As yet there’s been no confirmation of the name, nor period, of the nextBattlefieldgame, and there’s a 50/50 chance that the game will be called that – because 5 follows 4, naturally – or it’s a just an internal holding name. But this is the first time we’ve seen a EA representative formally refer to the game asBattlefield 5.

Whatever it is, we don’t have to wait too long for confirmation one way or the other;all will be revealed in just a few hours time. Until then, you’re able to watch this 8-second teaser trailer 5,107 times.
