King of Fighters XIVdidn’t have a European release secured for its August worldwide launch, but that has changed as of today. Deep Silver swooped in and is targeting an August 26 release date, which is a day after Japan, and three days after North America (which Atlus is handling).
The game will feature 50 fighters (19 of them are new), an “improved” MAX Mode, and a “vastly improved netcode” that features online training and “frame-by-frame” replays. On paper all this sounds good, and the game has really had quite the reawakening since its poor reception when the initial art style was announced.
