An Israeli TV news show recently broadcast a video tour of Visceral’s studios and showed off more than the developer had bargained for — panning its cameras across aDead Space 3logo. Not exactly the most glorious of reveals.
Of course, it’s entirely possible that the thing is a hoax, but faking the reveal of aninevitablesequel seems like a complete waste of somebody’s time. Then again, people comment on Youtube, so it’s not like we have people valuing their minutes online.
Electronic Arts has done what Electronic Arts does best and denied everything, stating: “We don’t have any news about theDead Spacefranchise at this time.”
If this wereKiller Instinct IIIorSadness, I’d be a lot more skeptical, butDead Space 3is simply something that’sgoingto happen. EA might as well come clean.
