Not to be outdone for once by the US Club Nintendo,Club Nintendo Japanwill be getting its own Year of Luigi items to celebrate everyone’s favoriteMariocharacter’s year. These include a 3DS XL case, notebook and pen combo, a puzzle full of Luigis on a green background, and aDr. Luigimicrofiber cloth set all full of the Mario brother’s branding.
I’m still super bummed because I knew I had enough coins for theLuigi’s Mansionstatuethat went up in the US store the other day, but in actuality 500 of my coins had expired last month. So, no awesome Weegee statue for me. I really hope these items make it to the West at some point (especially seeing as howthe Year of Luigi has officially been extended) so I don’t feel as bad for missing out on any one part of the Luigi festivities.
