How to get all Essences in MySims
If you’re an avidSimsplayer, you know all about the customizable Build Mode.MySimsoffers a similar feature but goes beyond standard build items through its Essence collection. Essence is broken down into three categories:Objects, Emotions, and Living Things. Objects are pretty self-explanatory; they’re the products you can use when crafting a house. Then, there’s the Emotions category from socialization, used for multiple crafting recipes. Last but not least are Living Things, creatures like fish, puppies, and elephants.
Each Essence showcases an Interest that other Sims can either like or dislike. This includes Cute, Tasty, Fun, Studious, Geeky, and Spooky attributes. So, if a Sim enjoys Geeky stuff, you should shower them with nerdy content. When selecting a dialogue option, you can also keep a Sim’s Interests in mind.
In addition to building and socializing, Essence can alter paint decorations. For example, if you earn the Happy Essence, you may change a furniture design to a happy face theme. You’ll be doing this interaction quite a lot, as multiple Sims will mandate a distinct theme during quests.

The easiest way to earn Emotion Essence is by speaking toother Sims. It can be as simple as being nice to someone, earning you a Happy Essence. Let’s go over what social points you may use to unlock these features.
All Object Essences in MySims
Object Essences are much more substantial than Emotions and Living Things. There are plenty of items to go around inMySims, and you’ll need to think outside the box to discover them all. In particular, you can search for nearby Essences on the ground through the Prospect interaction. You’ll whip out a device that releases Sonar Pings, which you must follow to find a dig spot. You can also perform other tasks like harvesting trees or fishing for more objects.
All Creature Essences in MySims
The finalMySimsEssence category, Living Things, brings more creatures to your world. You’ll likely discover a variety of fish types first, as they are found in the beginning area of Town Square.
