In desperate need of a delightful time-waster for your workday?Achievement Unlocked 2is here to rescue you. This sequel sees the return of the little blue elephant with a new selection of rooms for him to explore and achieve in.

Because this is a parody of the achievement systems now ubiquitous in gaming, you’ll score the awards for doing pretty much everything. Walking, jumping, even ignoring the controls altogether and attempting other methods to interact result in achievement after achievement. Just starting the game will give you a barrage of the awards (but you’ll already have at least a couple by even this point).

On the one hand, yes, this is making a stab. But after playing it for ten minutes, it became clear that this was as much a celebration of what makes achievements great as an opportunity to point out how silly they can be. The more you experiment and play around, the more you are rewarded and that’s something I can get behind.
