Every time I hear ‘Corvo’ I swear they are saying ‘Kurva’ Bethesda showed offtwo minutes of gameplayback at Gamescom on a level called the Clockwork Mansion. Now it has released an extended eight-minute look at the bizarre mansion that shape-shifts like a steampunk version of Hogwarts. Frankly it looks fantastic, but I do have some minor concerns. The gameplay itself seems fast, fluid, and satisfying, even if we are still waiting for some stealth-focused gameplay to be shown....

Gotta fly fast I got to have a wander around EGX 2015 in Birmingham last week, and found myself spending quite a lot of time in the indie section of the show floor. There were games using puppets and door-stoppers, games with big and fancy displays, games that managed to take up entire rows of computers, but there was one game I want to ensure everyone’s aware of:Megaton Rainfall. Sat on a humble two screens in EGX’s Leftfield Collection (or “The narrow, crushing corridor of really, really indie stuff”), and promoted by just one lonely poster,Megaton Rainfalldidn’t look particularly interesting until I sat down to give it a try....

It looks like a treat for management sim fans. While Atari is putting out a newRollerCoaster Tycoonthis year,Planet Coasterseems to be the one to watch. Not just because it’s being made by Frontier Developments, the studio behindRollerCoaster Tycoon 3(and more recentlyElite: Dangerous), but because it looks charming....

GungHo sure does like their dragons Sony didn’t spend much time focusing on the PlayStation Vita at E3 this year, much to the distress of the struggling portable’s fanbase. Rest assured, though, there are still plenty of hot games in the pipeline for the system. Ragnarok Odyssey Aceis one such title. An enhanced version of last year’sacclaimed role-player, the updated features include an all-new epilogue and a cross-play version on PlayStation 3....

One of my favorite things about my local arcade is itsPop‘n Musiccabinet. Slamming the machine’s big, illuminated buttons to remixes of classic Konami themes is one of my favorite things to do on the weekend. Most gamers, however, aren’t lucky enough to have aPop’n Musicarcade cabinet near them, not to mention anauthentic Japanese arcade. A PSP controller is a poor substitute for the cabinet’s eight buttons, but fans and newbies might be happy to know that it’s at least an option....
