A Moscow court has found Dmitry Glukhovsky, the author of the originalMetro 2033novel and its sequels, guilty of “deliberately spreading false information,” leading to a hefty eight-year prison sentence. The charges state Glukhovsky posted texts and videos on his social channels claiming that Russian servicemen have been committing crimes in Ukraine. As reported by the Associated Press, Glukhovskey was tried in absentia as he is not in Russia. A famed journalist and author, Glukhovsky was pronounced a “foreign agent” last year due to his critique of the Kremlin and Putin himself....
